About Us
Immersion is a hosting and retreat management company providing an experienced and professional structure to organise and manage intentional retreats in what has become a very busy and sometimes chaotic marketplace. Our motivation is to create a space that brings joy and well-being in others.
Our choice of retreats is based on the 8 humanities. Subjects which enable us to help understand ourselves, others and the world : Culture, Philosophy, History , Literature, Art, Music, Theatre and Dance. Each year we add more of the elements to our programme and then throw in some fun stuff too.

Jax Hill-Wilson (Founder & Host)
Jax Hill-Wilson, a long time retreater and wisdom seeker herself has the fortune to live at Le Grand Banc. Having talked for many years about hosting a series of retreats at the hamlet, we put words into action 4 years ago. Immersion Retreats was born.
Lucky to have friends who are gifted teachers and retreaters themselves she has put together collaborations and schedules with them that focus on the excellence of the teaching. A long career as a director of various customer experience companies and a consultant to start-ups and fast growth businesses, taking care of people and making their dreams come alive is in her blood. Jax is the retreats host.

Lil Belman (Retreat Planner)
Lil is a professional organiser par excellence. Having worked with a leading global concierge company and headed up their private membership team, Lil excels at taking a brief, tackling a problem and finding a solution. She has a knack for making complex things simple and a passion for systems that support individuals, groups and families to experience the greatest well-being possible for them in their choices.
She is the organiser of our systems which get things done: promoting events, taking bookings, organising payments and getting you to the venue.
She is also the dedicated mum of two delightful girls who bring joy to all they meet.
